Bill Howe

Bill Howe has been with H & H Electric since 1990. He began managing the residential department then moved into the commercial field. After running several large projects as a Foreman, he later moved back into the office as a Project Manager/Estimator, Vice President in charge of operations, and finally to his current position as President. A Master Electrician, Bill has over 25 years in the electrical industry including voice/data and fiber optics. Having been involved in every aspect for H&H Electric gives Bill a unique and critical outlook on not only what’s important for the company and employees but what’s most important “the customer”.

 

Rod Kruckman

Rod Kruckman, Project Manager

Rod Kruckman has worked in the electrical industry since 1992. His electrical education is derived from years of experience as an Apprentice, Journeyman, Foreman and Project Superintendent. Rod has practical, field experience with all phases of electrical work: high voltage, voice/data, fire alarm and security (including cctv systems). As a Project Manager, Rod provides quick turn around for any issue and is always available via phone or email regarding jobsite or material ordering questions. Coordinating material orders and jobsite delivery, documenting and managing project man hours, scheduling and project costs all fall within the realm of his Project Manager responsibilities. Major project experience includes, Nolen Shores Condominiums, Capitol West Development, Build Outs/Infills at Meriter and St. Mary's Hospital and Aberdeen Apartments, all in Madison.

 

Dave McGinnis

David McGinnis, Project Manger/Designer

David has worked in the construction industry since 1993. He began his career with a large engineering firm in Madison focusing on electrical design, engineering, and AutoCAD. Since joining H & H Electric Dave has gained experience with estimating, project management and job site coordination, specifically on design/build and LEED projects.

Jason Borgardt

Jason Borgardt, Vice President of Construction Services

Jason joined H&H Electric as Director of Project Management.  Jason brings over sixteen years of experience of project management, business analysis, estimating and employee management.  He has worked with industrial, healthcare, commercial, and educational institutions using strong analysis and process improvements skills with an emphasis on safety and quality.   Jason currently holds an Electrician Journeyman License and WHEA Healthcare Construction Certificate.  He has been involved with several LEED® projects resulting in platinum, gold and silver awards.  He graduated from Clemson Project Management Academy and the Electronics Technician Program - Fox Valley Technical College. 

 

 

Bob Korth

Bob Korth, Project Manager, Janesville

Bob has been with H & H Electric since 2000, and has worked in the Electrical Contracting business for over 30 years. Mr. Korth is experienced at projects from small residential to large commercial jobs. He is a Master Electrician, having worked as a Journeyman Electrician and completing a full electrical apprenticeship. Bob also has Ortronics Data certification. Recent projects include (ongoing) work at Mercy Hospital in Janesville, WPS in Wausau, Fort Atkinson Hospital, Meriter Hospital, Huntington Memory Care and Winther Hall at University of Wisconsin, Whitewater.

Mark Klubertanz, Project Manager, BIM / CAD Manager

Mark joined H & H Electric in 2009 and has been in the design field the past 7 years, with focus on the electrical side for the past 4 years. Mark has a strong knowledge of Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) software and Electrical Construction, which makes him the ideal person to manage the CAD and Building Information Modeling (BIM) design department for H & H Electric. With his design experience, Mark is armed with a unique perspective for Project Management. With quick turnaround times and precise attention to detail, Mark’s projects move smoothly from design to project completion and commissioning. Current and past projects include Meriter Hospital, St. Mary’s Hospital, Mercy Hospital, WPS, and the University of Wisconsin.

 

 Chris Bartlett

Chris started his career by owning and operating a restaurant in Waterloo but he always wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps—to be an electrician.  His opportunity came when he went to work for Town & Country Electric.  He was excited to start on a new career path.  Chris worked on various projects for schools, hospitals and condos; specific projects he was involved with were Watertown Hospital, Columbus Hospital-ER addition, Equinox Student Housing and the Kalahari Resort in the Dells, to name a few.  Chris’s most recent work experience was as a Project Detailer for Faith Technologies.

 

Mike Simonson

Michael joined H & H Electric in 2008 and has worked in the electrical industry since 1995. He is a Journeyman Electrician with field experience on both commercial and residential projects. His familiarity with site work and the challenges it poses provides a solid background for reliable service. Michael completed a full five year electrical apprenticeship. He is familiar with fire alarm systems, voice/data, lighting, lighting controls and low voltage security systems. With a staff of six full time service electricians, H&H Electric is able to offer quick response and quality work. We are familiar with the Focus on Energy lighting retrofit incentive programs and the shared savings programs offered by participating utilities.

 

Jason McCann

Jason has worked in the telecommunications industry since 1998, specializing in the installation of low voltage cabling including Voice/Data, Security, Closed Circuit Television, Audio Visual and Fiber Optics. His experience with a wide array of customers gives him a unique perspective to Project Management. Jason's project experience includes several University of Wisconsin-Madison projects, Including: Fredrick Center Residence Hall Remodel, Chadbourne Hall Remodel, School of Education Building and Grainger Hall Business School as well as continuing projects at WPS and Meriter Hospital. In addition to his RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) designation, Jason holds a Systimax Design & Engineer Certification and is trained in Seicor, NEC and Ortronics.

 

Todd Roethel

Todd is a Master Electrician and has been with H&H Electric since 1996. 10 years of field experience combined with the latest estimating and Auto CAD software give Todd the tools to deliver accurate, timely estimates. Todd is intimately familiar with commercial, renewable, residential and industrial projects. He is also a Project Manager, which provides a realistic approach to estimating. By working closely with our BIM modeling, he can ensure that every electrical project is perfectly coordinated with all trades.

  

Robin Usgaard

Robyn Usgaard joined H&H as a Project Manager for Electrical.  Robyn has been a Project Manager for the past ten years and has worked on projects ranging from $10k to $8 million.  He is a journeyman electrician.  Robyn has a degree in Business Administration from Valley City State, North Dakota. 

 

Tom Wineke

Tom joined H&H in 2011 as an electrical foreman and was recently promoted to Special Projects/Service Manager.  He works on special projects generally under $50k and as an energy management consultant on retrofits and upgrades.  His past work experience includes managing of high-end residential wiring projects, supervision of multiple work crews, account management and quality control.  He holds three certificates--Certificate of Project Management, Certificate in Commercial Electrical Program and Residential Electrical Program.  He is currently enrolled at Madison College in the Supervisory Management Program.  Tom is a State of Wisconsin Journeyman.

 

Nick Madson

Nick Madson joined H&H as our new Safety Director.  Nick brings experience in the electric and construction industry.  His philosophy is a job is not a success unless “nobody gets hurt”.  He believes profitability, new work and productivity are all by-products of a safe work environment.  He attended UW-Whitewater and received a degree in Construction Safety.  Safety was a good niche for him. 

  

Chris Bakken

Chris Bakken, Field Services Coordinator

Chris schedules tool and material distibutioin to jobsites.  He coordinates equipment repairs and maintenance, plus oversees organization of H&H's warehouse and in-coming deliveries.  He has previous experience with purchasing which will be a valuable asset in his job.  He previously worked as a customer service representative for an electrical supply distibutor for two years. He has over fourteen years of experience with electric contracting.
